Simple, consistent guidelines that keep our school day safe, fair and predictable for every child.
School hours are 9:00 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. for LKG & UKG, and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for Classes I to IV.
Students are expected to arrive at least 10 minutes before the morning assembly begins.
A written application is required for any planned absence, and a medical note for absences beyond two days.
Regular, punctual attendance is considered while assessing Notebook Maintenance and Internal Assessment.
Nursery, LKG & UKG: Orange half-sleeve T-shirt with striped black trousers (boys) or striped black skirt with orange T-shirt (girls).
Classes I–IV: Blue half-sleeve shirt with striped black trousers (boys) or striped black skirt with blue shirt (girls).
The complete uniform, including shoes, must be worn neatly every school day unless otherwise notified.
Sports/activity attire may be required on specific days as communicated through the Student's Hand Book.
Students are expected to be honest, respectful and kind to teachers, staff and fellow students at all times.
Participation in at least one extra-curricular activity (yoga, dance or singing) is compulsory for every student.
Bullying, dishonesty or disrespectful behaviour is addressed promptly and discussed with parents.
Students are encouraged to uphold the SPES Pledge — honesty, respect, integrity and hard work — every day.
The Hand Book is the official channel of communication between parents and teachers — bring it to school every day.
Any assignment, project or important message will be noted in the Hand Book and must be checked regularly.
Parents are requested to counter-sign the Hand Book after verifying that the noted task has been completed.
Office hours for parent visits are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday.
Children are only released to a parent or an authorised guardian named in their admission record.
Any change to pick-up arrangements must be communicated in writing in advance.
"I pledge that I shall be honest to God, my teachers, my elders and my classmates; that I shall speak truth; that I shall be cheerful and happy knowing at every moment that I am privileged to be a pupil; that I shall maintain a high level of respect and integrity as a student representing SPES."
We're happy to walk you through anything in more detail.
